What to Expect
As a Construction Superintendent, your primary responsibility is to manage and supervise field operations of multiple fast-paced projects at a time and ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule. Be able to manage changes quickly and efficiently. What You'll Do
- Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities & subcontractors
- Develop\u202felectrical\u202fexecution plans\u202fand\u202fschedules\u202ffor data center projects to anticipate challenges and mitigate risk\u202f
- Ensure frequent communication with key project individuals, job site personnel and\u202fProject Manager\u202f
- Drive\u202fwork\u202factivities to\u202fmeet\u202fproject schedule,\u202fremove project constraints, and\u202felevate construction issues to management\u202f
- Develop and communicate logistic\u202fplans for\u202fmaterial, equipment, and manpower\u202f
- Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing the applicable state and OSHA regulations\u202f
- Schedule and support quality control inspections, commissioning activities, and site safety inspections\u202f
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of electrical,\u202fcontrol\u202fand\u202fnetwork\u202fconstruction experience. Mechanical experience is a plus
- Previous experience as a Superintendent on industrial facility construction, Brownfield construction, building renovation or tenant improvement project(s)\u202f
- Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with tight timelines and aggressive goals
- OSHA 30 certification, NFPA 70E certified, current First Aid and CPR Certification, or be willing to be certified
- Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and environmental regulations\u202f
- Thorough understanding of construction design documents and ability to provide constructability feedback prior to and during construction\u202f
- Thorough understanding of NFPA 70E and NEC code requirements
