Position Summary

Basic IDIQ is seeking an experienced and dependable Construction Superintendent in Ft. Worth, Colorado Springs, El Paso and Albuquerque to oversee daily field operations for fast-paced, multi-discipline construction projects. This position coordinates subcontractors, maintains project schedules and ensures all work meets safety, quality and contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily job site operations from mobilization through closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors and material deliveries.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work and schedules.
• Monitor progress and promptly communicate delays or field issues.
• Enforce project safety and quality-control requirements.
• Maintain daily reports, photographs and jobsite documentation.
• Coordinate inspections, meetings, punch-list work and final completion.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years of construction supervisory experience, or 10 years of construction-trade experience.
• Experience on commercial, federal, state or municipal construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety and quality control.
• Ability to read plans, specifications and project schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including nights or weekends, when required.
• Ability to pass a background check and qualify for access to federal or Department of Defense facilities.

Preferred Experience

• IDIQ, JOC, SABER, federal/DoD, state or municipal or equivalent commercial construction.
• Job site management of 4 to 8 concurrent fast track, design-built and bid build multi-discipline projects ranging from $50,000 to $2.5 million.
•  Microsoft Project, Procore or similar construction-management software.
• OSHA, EM 385-1-1 or USACE Construction Quality Management certifications.
