Job Details

The Construction Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on-site and takes ownership of project execution from groundbreaking to closeout.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including subcontractor scheduling and sequencing
Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or conflicts
Conduct quality control inspections throughout construction phases
Coordinate with project managers, owners, architects, and inspectors
Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and site documentation
Lead pre-construction and weekly progress meetings with trade partners

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial projects
Strong knowledge of commercial construction means, methods, and best practices
Experience with industrial, institutional, and/or mixed-use project types preferred
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with scheduling software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
