Construction Superintendent

Construction Superintendent – Full-Time

We are a growing, locally operated construction company looking for an experienced and dependable Construction Superintendent to join our team.

The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing daily construction operations, coordinating subcontractors and crews, maintaining project schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and making sure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on job sites
• Manage subcontractors, crews, vendors, and deliveries
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction drawings
• Monitor project schedules and ensure work stays on track
• Inspect work for quality and compliance with plans and specifications
• Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and clients
• Identify and resolve job-site issues and delays
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements
• Track materials, equipment, and manpower
• Communicate daily progress and project updates
• Help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
• Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction drawings
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field
