The Superintendent is responsible for all on site construction activities with the project managers assistance on projects ranging from 100k-20M. These tasks will include contractor management labor management safety oversite client management procurement assistance and estimating assistance. This role will be in our Cary NC office with travel to various project locations in North Carolina.Key ResponsibilitiesManagescoordinates multiple trade subcontractors and jobsite logisticsOn-site point of contact for clients on projectsReadinterpret engineered drawings and understands construction meansmethodsMonitors and ensures on-site safety compliance and replays needs to EHS departmentMaintains site records daily filed reports RFIs observationsWrites a comprehensive scope of workProvides daily updates to Manager of ConstructionConducts constructability reviewsSupport project schedulingProvide three-week look-ahead to clientRecords meeting minutes for internal and external teamsSkills & Qualifications10 years related experience andor training or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong MEP background preferredLife Sciences experience a plusOSHA 30Excellent verbal written and communications skillsRead and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondencePrioritizes and plans work activities. Uses time efficientlyPlans for additional resources. Integrates changes smoothly. Sets goals and objectives.
