Commercial Interiors Superintendent - Manhattan, NYCOur client is a respected General Contractor specializing in commercial interiors construction across New York City, with a strong focus on Class A corporate office fit-outs and workplace renovations. With a portfolio that includes projects for leading financial institutions, law firms, technology companies, and corporate headquarters, they are known for delivering high-quality spaces and maintaining long-standing relationships with some of Manhattan's most prestigious clients.Job DescriptionOversee all on-site construction activities from project kickoff through final turnover. Manage daily jobsite operations, scheduling, and trade coordination. Maintain project milestones and ensure activities align with the master schedule. Lead subcontractor meetings and coordinate multiple trades in occupied and high-profile environments. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements. Proven experience delivering office fit-outs, tenant improvements, and workplace renovation projects. Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination. Experience working in occupied buildings and navigating the logistical challenges of Manhattan construction projects. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, site safety requirements, and NYC construction standards. Ability to proactively identify and solve field-related issues while maintaining project schedules. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
