Job Details
Job Responsibilities
- As a Multifamily Construction Superintendent, you will:
- Oversee daily operations of multifamily construction projects from inception to completion
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating with project managers and other stakeholders
- Monitor project budgets and control costs
- Lead daily meetings with the construction team to review progress and address any issues
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of construction equipment and materials
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to resolve design and construction challenges
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on the job site
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in multifamily construction supervision
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and safety regulations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office suite
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites
