Description
Construction Superintendent
- Oversee daily on-site construction activities from project start through closeout
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety policies
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with contract documents
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Owners
- Lead site meetings and provide progress updates
- Identify and resolve construction issues proactively
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance
- General knowledge of Building and Construction Codes
- Support project closeout activities including punch lists and final inspections

Profile
A successful Construction Superintendent should have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and safety regulations
- Experience managing commercial projects such as office buildings, healthcare, retail, higher education, multifamily, or industrial facilities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically navigate active construction sites
