Responsibilities
  • Lead field operations to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents
  • Supervise field personnel, assistant superintendents, area superintendents, and trade contractors
  • Manage project quality control and coordinate inspections and testing
  • Monitor labor, material usage, productivity, and project costs
  • Develop, maintain, and drive CPM schedules and look ahead schedules
  • Implement and manage project safety, QA/QC, HazCom, and SWPPP programs
  • Review and approve trade contractor pay applications and material invoices
  • Assist with preconstruction planning, estimating, and project startup
  • Coordinate permits, inspections, site mobilization, and temporary utilities
  • Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and document revisions
  • Maintain daily reports and project documentation
  • Identify scope changes and coordinate resolution with project management
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred OR equivalent field experience
  • Minimum 15 years of construction experience
  • Experience leading large, complex construction projects, preferably arenas or stadiums
  • Experience managing multiple assistant superintendents and field teams
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems
  • Experience with QA/QC programs
  • Ability to develop and manage CPM schedules
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings
  • Experience managing RFIs, change management, and scope control
