Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage day-to-day field operations for multifamily new construction and adaptive reuse projects in Philadelphia.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with structural framing and MEP construction, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, quality control, and site safety.
Responsibilities
Manage daily construction activities and subcontractors.
Oversee structural framing, MEP, and finishing work.
Maintain project schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
Review plans, specifications, submittals, and RFIs.
Conduct site inspections and monitor quality and safety.
Coordinate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, inspectors, and Philadelphia L&I.
Lead weekly progress meetings and complete daily reports.
Resolve field issues and maintain project standards.
Support final inspections, punch lists, and Certificates of Occupancy.
Requirements
5–10+ years of construction experience.
Strong structural framing and MEP experience required.
Multifamily construction experience preferred, especially 50+ unit projects.
Philadelphia construction experience strongly preferred.
Experience with Philadelphia L&I and Certificates of Occupancy is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety, and quality control.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
