Description

Powerhouse Retail Services is a progressive company looking for high energy, positive people! Attention to detail, ability to work as a team and a positive attitude are a must! May require work in the evening or overnight. Must be able to travel extensively. Experience in Retail/Restaurant Construction environment preferred.

This is a hands-on position!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Basic understanding of reading floor plans.

Basic ability to understand the scope of work, estimate the time involved, and take initiative with fundamental scheduling changes to minimize cost and time.

Strong customer service skills.

Basic leadership ability/ Manage construction crews in the installation of cabinetry, flooring and FF&E along with light construction.

Must be present on the jobsite as defined by program expectations.

Ensure blueprints and plans are followed precisely

Interface with local permitting authorities to ensure compliance.

Provide weekly photo and work completed reports to Powerhouse via web-based portal.

Ensure security/safety protocols are followed.

Ability to supervise up to 4 crews spread across a metro area in a given night.

Responsible for training crews and ensuring accurate and precise work.

Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Willing to travel 100% across the U.S. and Canada as determined by the Project Manager.

Requirements

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Employee time sheets

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Manages and motivates staff (including: hiring, firing, performance management, and recognition duties).
• Assess staffing needs; train, direct and appraise staff.
• Make daily schedules for proper manpower utilization.
• Plans and organizes workload and staff assignments.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:• Five (5) years of experience in related field, preferred retail/restaurant construction environment.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:• There are no specific requirements for this position.

COMPUTER SKILLS:• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
