About Our Client
Our client is a well-established General Contractor with a portfolio exceeding $1B in completed construction projects and a strong presence inthe industrial and warehouse construction sector. With a steady pipeline of distribution centers and logistics facilities, they are continuing to grow and are seeking a Superintendent with the ability to step into senior leadership over time
Job Description
This Superintendent job will entail: - Partner with the Project Manager to develop and manage project schedules
- Create and maintain master schedules, including sequencing of sitework, structure, and interior buildout
- Lead daily site operations and supervise subcontractors and field staff
- Oversee critical phases such as site development, concrete slabs, tilt-wall or precast erection, and roofing systems
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to plans/specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors
- Track progress and proactively resolve delays or field issues
- Maintain daily logs, reports, and short-term lookahead schedules
- Enforce strict job site safety standards and OSHA compliance
- Facilitate inspections and walkthroughs with municipal officials and ownership teams

The Successful Applicant
A Successful Superintendent Applicant will have: - 3-15 years of construction experience
- Experience with warehouse, distribution center, or large-scale industrial projects
- Knowledge of tilt-up, precast, or large slab-on-grade construction preferred
- Proven ability to manage ground-up projects from start to finish
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schedules
- Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
- OSHA certification preferred
- Construction Management or related degree is a plus
