Construction Supervisor

Job Summary:
Lox Construction is seeking a reliable and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee field operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to high-quality standards. This role requires hands-on experience operating construction equipment, specifically skid steers and mini excavators, and the ability to work closely with Engineers and Project Managers to execute project plans effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily construction site activities and crew performance
• Operate equipment including skid steers and mini excavators as needed
• Coordinate work based on plans, specifications, and project timelines
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate execution of work
• Maintain job site safety standards and enforce OSHA regulations
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement solutions in real time
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and tools
• Train and guide crew members to improve efficiency and quality
• Track materials, labor, and daily productivity

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a construction supervisor or similar role
• Hands-on experience operating skid steers and mini excavators is a must
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and site management
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA certification
• Experience working with civil, site development, utilities and general construction.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor job sites in varying weather conditions
