Overview
At AMERICAN SYSTEMS, we support mission-critical programs that protect national security. We are seeking a Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) to support secure construction activities at sensitive facilities by monitoring construction personnel, enforcing security procedures, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and maintaining detailed documentation in accordance with government and site-specific security requirements.

Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance required.
U.S. citizenship required for the purpose of obtaining and maintaining a U.S. security clearance.
Ability to make independent decisions, exercise sound judgment, demonstrate a high degree of initiative, and work with minimal supervision.
3-5 years of security experience related to one or more of the following areas:
ICD 705 / SCIF / SAPF construction
intelligence operations
counterintelligence operations
countersurveillance operations
Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM)
physical security
Knowledge of and experience with security documentation related to SCIF and SAPF construction and accreditation.
3-5 years of experience working as a Construction Surveillance Technician (CST).
3-5 years of experience working as a Cleared American Guard (CAG).
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
Strong observation, documentation, and report-writing skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, security staff, and leadership.
Regular and predictable attendance is essential.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $84,000.00/Yr. - USD $94,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
