Salary: $20.00 - $25.00
EMPLOYEE OWNER POSITION PURPOSE:
WBC is a full-service, turnkey reconstruction rm focused on delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. Our in-house tradesmen support a diverse client base, including homeowners, construction professionals, boutique builders, and large-scale residential developers. We provide services across Southern California for HOAs, apartment communities, condominiums, and single-family homes. We are seeking a Construction Technician I, who takes pride in delivering seamless, high-quality repairs and understands the importance of both structural integrity and visual consistency.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with general construction tasks on residential and commercial job sites.
- Perform demolition, cleanup, and basic carpentry work under supervision.
- Support skilled trades in rebuilding and installing structural components.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Ensure workmanship meets quality expectations and timelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in general construction
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to learn
SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have reliable transportation and tools
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and driving record in compliance with Company policy
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, using a ladder and lifting (25-60) lbs.
- Must adhere to all PPE requirements (hard hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, etc.).
- Some projects may require exposure to dust, debris, and construction noise.
- Ability to read and follow written job orders, drawings, and safety documentation.
- Must always demonstrate commitment to team safety and quality workmanship
 SCHEDULE:
- Monday-Friday from approx. 8:00am-4:30pm
- This position may require occasional long hours to meet business needs, including being available for emergency needs
