Construction Technician

Full Time Residential Construction Technician

Paul Davis Restoration is looking to hire a full time residential construction technician to work together with project manager and other team members to restore fire and water damaged residential properties being repaired through the insurance claim process. Ideal employee will have experience in framing, trim carpentry, painting, appliance installation, and all other residential construction tasks. Basic understanding of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical is a plus. Construction technicians will be provided with company transportation and power tools. To be an ideal fit for this position, you should be capable of a wide variety of basic skills including:

• Meeting with customers and working inside their homes
• Towing and backing up work trailers
• Lifting and moving heavy furniture, equipment, and boxes
• Working off ladders and roofs
• Basic computer / record keeping skills

Applicant MUST meet the following requirements:

• Must pass a drug test & background check
• Must be safe driver with clean driving record.
• Must be available to work Monday-Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM
• Must be available on a weekly rotation, to work after hours providing emergency repairs/services to homeowners in need

Team mentality, good attitude, and willingness to learn are significant pluses. Pay is commensurate to experience/skill level. Opportunities to work overtime are readily available and promotion to project manager position is available for technicians who show ambition and seek to climb within the company.
