Construction Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Jackson, GA
Pay Rate: $16 - $26 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Construction Drivers and Heavy Equipment
Operators to join our team in the Jackson, GA area. Candidates should have experience operating
construction equipment, driving commercial vehicles, or supporting construction projects in a
fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Operate construction vehicles and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and site preparation activities.
• Follow all OSHA, company, and site safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs and report equipment issues promptly.
• Support general construction tasks as needed.
Qualifications
• Previous construction, heavy equipment, or commercial driving experience preferred.
• Experience with equipment such as skid steers, excavators, loaders, dozers, dump trucks, or
similar machinery is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus but not required unless specified.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
