Job Profile Summary
We are hiring a Rubrik Data Protection Engineer to take ownership of enterprise backup, recovery, and data protection services across a complex banking environment. This role will focus on stabilizing, securing, and optimizing Rubrik platforms to ensure data resilience, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in Rubrik data protection platform management activities including design, implementation, and support
Manage Rubrik clusters, SLA domains, replication, and archival policies
Provide day-to-day backup monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery support
Perform data recovery testing to validate RTO/RPO compliance
Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures
Support data protection across virtual, database, and file system environments
Implement disaster recovery and archival strategies
Ensure compliance with financial services regulatory standards
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams
Apply upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
Automate and standardize backup processes
