Job OverviewStructural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SIA) is looking for a motivated Civil/Structural Consultant to join our Critical Infrastructure Solutions team in our Denver, CO office. Remote or other office locations (Atlanta, GA, Sacramento, CA, San Diego, CA, or San Jose, CA) may be considered.Primary ResponsibilitiesPlan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate projects of medium to high complexity with limited oversightExecute complex structural engineering tasksControl and regularly report progress of project scope and budgetProvide clear instructions to team members on delegated tasksManage the preparation of technical reports and calculation documentsReview calculations and analyses from other engineersAct as a resource for engineering staffAssist senior management to win repeat work from existing clients through effective service and minding of clients' needsRepresent the company, often as the sole SIA attendee at project meetingsCoordinate with other technical leaders in the company in solving very complex engineering problemsImplement SIA's policies on safety and quality controlRequired Skills/QualificationsMS in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical engineering from an ABET-accredited universityAt least 7 years of relevant professional experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseExperience managing projects in solid mechanics, steel, concrete, seismic design/analysis, advanced structural analysis, structural dynamics, and use of advanced finite element analysis software platformsExperience solving problems using data, logic, and judgementExperience using structural engineering codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISCProficiency in structural engineering or finite element analysis programs (e.g. ANSYS, ABAQUS, SAP2000, LS-DYNA, Matlab, and/or Mathcad)Strong planning and organizational skills to complete assignments within budget and scheduleExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to review, critique, and improve the written output of other engineersDesired Skills/QualificationsExcellent track record of recognized technical excellence and market leadershipDemonstrated ability to develop strong client relationshipsLeadership and participation in industry standard committeesExperience as an accomplished public speakerPay RangeThe expected salary range for this role is $104,240 to $144,700 in Denver, CO; $97,440 to $135,700 in Atlanta, GA; $106,720 to $147,700 in Sacramento, CA; $104,160 to $144,600 in San Diego, CA; and $123,200 to $171,300 in San Jose, CA.
