Role Overview

Oracle Communications Consulting is seeking a Senior Consulting Sales Representative to drive consulting services bookings growth across telecommunications service providers and enterprise customers in North America. This role is focused on expanding Oracle Consulting''s business supporting our communications infrastructure portfolio, including Session Border Controller (SBC), Session Router (SR), Oracle Communications Converged Application Server (OCCAS), and related network transformation solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a consultative sales strategy that identifies customer business challenges, positions Oracle Consulting as a trusted advisor, and closes complex professional services engagements. This individual will work closely with Oracle license sales, product management, solution engineering, and consulting delivery teams to develop customer-centric solutions that accelerate business outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a proven enterprise sales professional with a strong hunter mentality, executive presence, and experience selling consulting or professional services within the telecommunications, networking, or cloud communications industry.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $133,000 to $217,700 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50/50 - 60/40.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle''s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive consulting services bookings and revenue growth for Oracle Communications Consulting across North America.
  • Develop and execute territory and account strategies to identify, qualify, and close new consulting services opportunities.
  • Build trusted relationships with telecommunications service providers, enterprises, and strategic partners.
  • Generate and manage a healthy pipeline through proactive prospecting, account planning, and business development activities.
  • Engage C-level executives, business leaders, and technical decision-makers to understand business priorities and position Oracle Consulting services.
  • Collaborate closely with Oracle sales teams, solution architects, product specialists, and consulting delivery organizations to develop integrated customer solutions.
  • Lead the development of consulting proposals, statements of work, business cases, and executive presentations.
  • Position Oracle Consulting as a strategic partner for network modernization, security, cloud migration, and communications transformation initiatives.
  • Manage complex sales cycles from opportunity identification through negotiation and contract execution.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Oracle Communications technologies, industry trends, and competitive solutions.

  • Strong understanding of voice networking, SIP, unified communications, or telecommunications infrastructure is highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with one or more Oracle Communications products, including:

  • Session Border Controller (SBC)

  • Session Router (SR)

  • Oracle Communications Converged Application Server (OCCAS)

  • Enterprise Communications Broker (ECB)

  • IMS and VoIP technologies

  • Experience selling complex, multi-stakeholder consulting engagements.
