Requirements
3 years of technical sales experience in a relevant industry with associate- to advanced-level technical certification in at least one domain.
5 years of progressive experience in a technical consulting systems engineering or technical specialist role performing solution design and customer-facing responsibilities.
Strong pre-sales solution design experience with Cisco technologies CCNP certification preferred.
Demonstrated success supporting sales engagements ideally within the SLED New England market.
Experience designing and supporting enterprise network environments with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Infrastructure modernization • Multi-cloud architecture • Security • Digital transformation
Proven ability to operate in a sales consulting role and collaborate effectively with sales teams engineering resources and OEM partners.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 40 locally and within surrounding states.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including customer presentations product demonstrations and executive-level discussions.
Industry certifications such as Cisco VMware and/or AWS strongly preferred.
Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
Preferred Locations
Preferred locations include Albany, NY, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
Salary Range
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $150,000.00 to $200,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including shift location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure, and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation such as bonuses or commissions that is not included in the base pay.
