Consumer Lender

 Responsibilities & Duties

• Evaluate and process consumer loan applications
• Analyze clients' financial situations to recommend appropriate loan products
• Assist clients with loan applications and ensure all required documentation is complete
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of lending products and services
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan application process
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
• Conduct credit checks and assessments for loan approvals
• Educate clients on the various lending options available
• Collaborate with other financial professionals to provide comprehensive financial solutions
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to loans
• Monitor loan accounts to ensure timely payments and address any delinquencies
• Prepare and present loan proposals to management
• Keep up to date with industry trends and changes in lending regulations
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• Previous experience in consumer lending or financial services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with financial software and loan processing systems
• Knowledge of state and federal lending regulations
• Experience in sales or customer service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial services or lending role
• Basic understanding of lending products and financial principles
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good multitasking and time management abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze financial information
• Familiarity with credit reporting and assessment processes
