We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Union Consumer Auto and HELOC Loan Closer for a credit union in Modesto, CA.

Type: Temporary for an LOA (good way to get a foot-in-the-door)

Pay: $24.00/hr.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm or hours close that.

Responsibilities:

• Process approved consumer loan applications including auto loans, indirect auto dealer loans, and HELOCs.
• Review loans to ensure correct and accurate stipulations.
• Ensure all indirect membership accounts created on the core data system are correct in the indirect loan origination system.
• Communicate with member service specialists, loan service specialists, and dealer partners about any incomplete paperwork or missing items related to the processing of new loans.
• Verify all loan package checklist items are complete.
• Utilize an indirect lending system processor to track loan package progress.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• A high school degree or GED is required
• 2 years processing or closing auto loans and HLOCs
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) fluency is preferred.
• Familiarity with all loan applications and documents.
• Knowledge of credit union consumer lending policies, procedures, and computer systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with members and co-workers.
• Efficient, accurate and detail-oriented.
