What You’ll Be Doing:
Collect, sort, distribute, and process mail directed to the Consumer Lending Department
Serve as a liaison between internal teams, external partners, and members to request, prepare, and record loan perfections and satisfactions with applicable titling and registration agencies, both manually and electronically
Process and complete loan payoffs within the CORE system
Perform payment reversals and loan modifications to correct errors or fulfill member requests
Prepare and send required loan documents to members for physical or electronic signature, and complete approved loan extensions and adjustments
Manage and maintain reports used for loan servicing, tracking, maintenance, and issue discovery
Prepare loan documentation for member signature, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements
Balance and reconcile shared accounts utilized by the Consumer Lending Department
Provide timely notices and communications to members regarding loan and account-related matters
Perform loan transfers, maintenance, and account notations within the CORE system related to account closures due to fraud, death of borrower, or other qualifying events
Respond to internal and external loan-related report and information requests
Prepare and retain loan files in accordance with document imaging and record retention requirements
Monitor and track loans for required insurance coverage; obtain proof of insurance or resolve discrepancies prior to force-placing insurance when necessary
Respond to consumer credit dispute requests in accordance with regulatory and organizational guidelines
Research, recommend, develop, and communicate new or revised procedures impacting the Operations Department, and participate in departmental and organizational projects involving cross-functional collaboration
What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
High School diploma or equivalent
1 year of related work experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
