Consumer Loan Processor

Kforce has a client in Alexandria, VA that is seeking a Consumer Loan Processor responsible for managing consumer loan applications from initial intake through funding. This role ensures all loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal guidelines while delivering a high level of service to members throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

• Process and fund approved consumer loan applications in a timely and accurate manner
• Review credit reports, income documentation, and supporting materials to ensure complete loan files
• Communicate with members to gather additional information, provide updates, and support them throughout the loan process
• Coordinate with underwriting teams to submit applications and address any conditions or exceptions
• Maintain detailed and organized loan files while managing multiple applications simultaneously
• Ensure compliance with internal lending policies and regulatory requirements
• Identify opportunities to recommend relevant financial products and services based on member needs
