Position Overview:

We're seeking a passionate, service-driven Member Service Representative I (MSR I) to join our team and help members achieve their financial goals through exceptional service and trusted financial guidance.

Typical Hours: Monday-Friday 8:25am-5:30pm. In addition, you will work a 4–5-hour shift usually every other Saturday but will have a half day during the week if you are scheduled Saturday.
 
Pay:The position starts at $21-22 per hour depending on experience, with a $2/hr. bump for Saturdays. In addition, we pay an additional $10/day for in-branch shifts (6+ hours). MSRs at Alliance are also eligible for additional pay (up to $2 per hour more) through cross-training programs. 

What You’ll Do

  • As a Member Service Representative I, you'll serve as a primary point of contact for members and potential members through phone, digital, and in-person channels. You'll:

  • Deliver outstanding member service that reflects the Alliance brand experience.
  • Assist members with account inquiries, maintenance, online banking, payments, transfers, and electronic services.
  • Process financial and non-financial transactions accurately and securely.
  • Identify member needs and recommend products and services that improve financial well-being.
  • Handle inbound and outbound communications via phone, email, chat, and other digital channels.
  • Support consumer and mortgage lending activities by gathering information and processing applications.
  • Resolve member concerns and provide effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with teammates and other departments to provide a seamless member experience. 

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of financial products, electronic services, and banking regulations. (we are willing to train the right candidate)
  • Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, call centers, banking, credit unions, or other financial institutions.
  • Additional education in business, finance, or a related field.

Work Schedule & Environment

  • Full-time, typically Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays

  • In-person role at our Hazelwood, MO branch
