About the Contact Center Representative Role
The Contact Center Representative will support members through a contact center environment, helping answer questions, resolve requests, and guide members through account-related needs. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys customer service, phone-based support, and working in a structured, team-oriented environment.
The Contact Center Representative will interact with members, internal teams, and branch or operations partners to ensure requests are handled accurately and professionally. The role is onsite during the initial training and ramp-up period, with hybrid flexibility expected after that period. This is a strong opportunity for someone with contact center, teller, banking, credit union, or customer service experience who wants to continue growing within Financial Services.
Role Responsibilities
Provide professional, friendly support to members by phone and through service channels
Answer questions related to accounts, services, transactions, and general member needs
Research member inquiries and help resolve issues accurately and efficiently
Document interactions and maintain accurate member records
Partner with internal teams to route requests, escalate issues, and support follow-up
Deliver a positive service experience while protecting sensitive member information
Support daily contact center goals, service standards, and team expectations
Build knowledge of financial products, services, and internal procedures over time
Qualifications
At least 1 year of contact center, call center, customer service, teller, or member service experience
Experience in Financial Services, banking, or credit union environments is helpful
Strong verbal communication skills and a professional phone presence
Ability to listen carefully, ask good questions, and explain information clearly
High attention to detail and accuracy when handling member information
Comfort working in a structured, service-focused environment
Ability to complete standard background and credit screening requirements
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
