Description

Our client is a Fortune 500 digital media company that is a recognized leader in audiobooks, podcasts, and audio entertainment.They are now looking to add to their team and are looking to hire a "Content Coordinator”. This role will be based out of Newark, NJPOSITION OVERVIEWA team-oriented role focused on ensuring accuracy, completeness, and quality of the audiobook catalog while supporting content delivery to millions of listeners.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Queue Management
  • Support production queue for internal/external audiobook providers
  • Gather necessary elements for audiobook production
  • Prioritize workflow based on stakeholder input
  • Track titles through production queue
  • Troubleshoot issues with various teams/external partners to ensure timely release
  • Catalog Maintenance
  • Manage updates for existing products using content management systems and ONIX metadata
  • Make and track changes to product records post-publication
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Avid consumer of online media (audiobooks, podcasts, digital content)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • B.A./B.S. or equivalent degree, preferably in humanities
  • Minimum 1 year professional proofreading/copyediting experience
  • Minimum 1 year editorial/operations experience in audiobook or podcast publishing
  • Technical proficiency in:
  • Windows operating environment
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
  • Database concepts and best practices
  • Multi-tasking and problem-solving
  • Cross-functional team collaboration
  • Attention to detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong research skills (SEO, social media, web-based tools)
  • Airtable
Demonstrated ability in:
  • Experience in audiobook, publishing, or digital media content operations
  • Knowledge of ONIX metadata standards
  • Project management and process improvement experience
  • Understanding of content ingestion workflows
Compensation: $31.50 per hour
