Job Summary

The content coordinator works with the editorial team to help fulfill the goal of providing information to IAPP members and nonmembers that they can use to make good decisions in their day-to-day work. The role involves a number of tasks, including sending IAPP content newsletters, posting items to the IAPP website (editorial content, resource center content, videos, contributor bios/headshots), communicating with members and the publications advisory board, assisting with the resource center, and filling in for certain team members when they are unavailable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Post editorial/content items to the IAPP news section and resource center
  • Maintain publications contributions in Salesforce, quarterly audits, and collect bios and headshots
  • Assist the IAPP production manager with deploying daily/weekly/monthly email products
  • Support IAPP knowledge specialist in managing and updating content on resource center webpages and Smartsheets, responding to inquiries from members and staff
  • Respond to publications general inquiries
  • General administrative tasks surrounding our various publications, internal and external communication, assisting with communications with the publications advisory board and general helpfulness
  • Source, place and log featured images
  • Manage the Westin Library
  • Manage video uploading from conferences, LinkedIn Lives, web conferences, and create video landing pages for each
  • Compile statistical reports, including email metrics
  • Organize/communicate with contributors of the LATAM Digest, collating monthly submissions
  • Share in the management of ad fulfillment provided by sales and marketing teams

Minimum Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college; or equivalent combination of
  • education and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficient in social media, online platforms like Google, and familiarity with content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, etc.
