Description
Title: Content Developer- CA / TX Location : Sunnyvale, CA OR Austin, TX( 3 days work from office) Rate: $50/hr W2 Experience- 8+ Years Job Summary: We are looking for a Detail-oriented Content Developer to handle data within CMS and catalog management tools. The Content Development team works on developing and enhancing features of the customer journey for all of client's e-commerce customers. In this role, you will work alongside many talented individuals who design, engineer, validate, and ship these great e-commerce features. Your role will be to set up and manage multiple types of data that are key to these new features. Your day-to-day would include setting up content, products, and media assets in the Publishing tools to support engineering projects and testing. You would track, package, and deploy all project data to production in accordance with complex release plans. You will work proactively to achieve a bug-free environment, coordinate with offshore and onshore resources to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and produce detailed documentation of feature setup.
Responsibilities:
Author, update and publish digital content within a CMS.
Build or update web pages using CMS components and templates.
Manage assets, links, metadata, tags and page properties.
Ensure content accuracy, brand consistency, perform content QA, proofreading, and link checks before publishing.
Support content reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Set up content, products, and media assets in the Online Store Publishing tools to support engineering projects and testing
Track, package, and deploy all project content to production in accordance with complex release plans
Work proactively to achieve a bug-free environment and conflicts across a multi-project & platform portfolio
Coordinate with offshore and onshore resources to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to organizational standards
Produce detailed documentation of feature setup
Gather and report metrics on release deliverables
Qualifications/Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Overall 6+ years, minimum of 4 years of experience in Web Publishing, Content Management, Library Science, eCommerce or related field.
CMS tools such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, or AEM.
Catalog Management tools such as FileMaker, SAP CRM, or Salsify.
Global e-commerce shopping experience development and execution.
Repository such as SVN or GIT.
Basic knowledge of programming. Good to have - Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) and their integration with CMS.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Strong decision making and prioritization skills; have experience executing complex production schedules with dependencies and competing priorities
Ability to establish rapport, credibility and influence across a large, matrixed organization
Comfortable upholding organizational values and best practices, while balancing competing time-to-market pressures and maintaining business relationships
Possess a passion for effective communication, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams
Able to anticipate, troubleshoot, and resolve problems on the fly
Strong technical background, and an ability to collaborate effectively with engineers
Passion for delivering excellent user experience for both business-users and customers
Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment where ambiguity and short turnaround schedules are the norm
