The Content Lead for SGNA Innovation and R&D will report to the Publishing Supervisor and lead the development and execution of internal communication initiatives to enhance visibility, engagement, and understanding of the center's innovation, research, and technology development efforts. This role bridges technical teams and key stakeholders through storytelling, content creation, internal communication and internal events, supporting the center's mission and thought leadership to reach and engage internal audiences.


The Content Lead is responsible for ensuring the weekly publishing schedules and editorial calendars are delivered on time and information shared through internal channels is accessible and relevant to the needs of employees in the region.

The daily responsibilities of this role will be dedicated to maintaining relationships with key subject matter experts in Innovation and R&D, as well as across the business, to identify stories of topical relevance for broad and niche internal audiences, and to writing and creating content in a variety of formats delivered through internal communications channels. The successful creation of value-add content is expected to drive employee engagement and increase understanding of our corporate strategy, growth priorities, key policies and resources to support employees.


Success in this role is evaluated by individual performance in delivering thoughtful, easy to understand and relevant content, and by survey feedback and engagement ratings of internal communication channels. As a key member of the

internal communications team the person in this position is expected to work collaboratively with assigned stakeholders to identify topics of relevance and importance to employees of the region.

What do you bring?


+ Bachelor's Degree in communications or related field is required

+ Master's Degree is preferred


A combination of education and experience will also be considered


+ An understanding of internal communication business functions, processes, systems and platforms is required

+ Excellent written and oral communications, interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to interact at all levels inside and outside the organization.

+ Advanced understanding of communication systems and software (SharePoint, Liferay, Poppulo, Scala, or other similar systems) is required

+ Proven project management and customer service skills are required

+ Strong business writing, creative design, and problem-solving skills are required

+ Interest in science and strong technical curiosity or previous experience in industrial or technical organization-

+ Communication Management Professional (CMP) certification and/or Strategic

+ Communication Management (SCM) certifications are preferred -

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position, which is $81,500 to $126,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $89,650 to $139,150. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.-
