Job Description

We are seeking a Content Management Specialist to join our team. The specialist will maintain the integrity, organization, tagging, and accessibility of strategic content within the Strategic Asset Management AI (SAMai) platform and the UBP Updates Accelerator. The role will steward metadata and taxonomy standards, ensure tagging accuracy, enable seamless asset transfer, and build well-structured libraries that support GenAI-driven strategy creation and content reuse. The specialist will coordinate user access administration, drive lifecycle management, and oversee content production workflows to ensure compliant, current, and activation-ready assets.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the accountable point of contact for content quality, compliance, and accessibility across SAMai and the UBP Updates Accelerator.
• SAMai stewardship and governance. Act as gatekeeper for content quality, currency, and compliance. Run periodic audits to ensure only final, approved strategic documents are available. Manage day-to-day user access per the approved Access Model and escalate exceptions to the Business Owner. Define area of responsibility and align maintenance cadence to governance needs. Partner with Brand Teams, enabling functions, and agencies to ensure timely, accurate submissions. Maintain currency by tracking lifecycles, prompting renewal, and archiving outdated or non-compliant items.
• Document intake, collection, and QC. Engage Brand Teams on a set cadence to compile strategic documentation. Manage intake, folder structure, and validation across SharePoint and downstream repositories. Monitor UBP Updates Accelerator alerts for UBP Story updates and obtain corresponding materials. Identify gaps and coordinate closure with Brand Teams.
• Taxonomy, tagging, and metadata. Apply and improve standards to maximize discoverability and reuse. Validate AI-generated first-pass tagging for accuracy and completeness. Ensure metadata integrity for enterprise search. Screen and redact sensitive information and apply appropriate sensitivity labels. Rename and log documents per naming conventions, tracking original and final file names.
• Content submission, upload, and version control. Upload approved, tagged content into SAMai and validate metadata transition. Ensure only current versions are available. Manage replacements, remove outdated versions from active libraries, and retain archives per policy. Test findability to confirm the most recent approved content surfaces in search.
• UBP Updates Accelerator user access coordination. Administer Viewer, Contributor, and Approver roles. Triage and track access requests end-to-end. Follow up for timely approvals and provisioning. Escalate access issues, inactive accounts, or exceptions to the Business Owner / Data Custodian, with final accountability resting with a Client employees.
• Workflow orchestration, vendor, and stakeholder enablement. Execute seamless asset transfer across systems. Monitor and resolve production bottlenecks. Serve as first point of contact for the SAMai support inbox for content-related questions, including redaction requests or outdated/non-compliant flags. Own Tier 1 escalations and route to Business and Product IT Owners as needed.
• Library maintenance and process improvement. Maintain a governed content library with reporting by brand, market, and document type. Recommend and implement approved process improvements, including taxonomy updates and workflow optimization as tooling evolves.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of metadata standards, tagging protocols, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to organize and maintain enterprise content libraries for scalability and reuse.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address production bottlenecks and access issues to maintain speed-to-market.
• Experience managing production timelines, vendor or agency coordination, and multichannel content delivery.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with DAM platforms such as AEM or Veeva Vault PromoMats and content governance tools.
• Understanding of AI-driven content generation and related technologies. Experience with GenAI-enabled strategies is a plus.
• Experience supporting IT access models and user access reviews.
• Familiarity with workflow management, version control, and access administration tools.

Education Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Additional Standout Experience

• Previous pharmaceutical brand marketing experience.
• Previous brand strategy or brand planning experience.
