Description AWS Skilling and Social Impact (SSI) exists to fuel, align, and amplify the good that AWS does in the world. We accelerate social impact with cloud and AI technology and expertise, and engage AWS customers, Partners, and Builders to deliver social and business value. To advance this mission, we seek a Content Strategy Lead to drive complex product marketing initiatives that demonstrate the power of AWS technology to make a positive impact in the world. The successful candidate will have experience marketing products across multiple channels - website, blogs, newsletters, social - for internal and external campaigns, as well as a track record of earning trust with peers, cross-functional stakeholders, and executives. Key job responsibilities * Manage the full lifecycle of complex product marketing initiatives and define strategy and measurement with limited guidance * Develop comprehensive marketing strategies spanning targeting, go-to-market plans, positioning, promotions, and launch plans * Identify gaps between teams and processes, influence partner team roadmaps, anticipate risks, and build contingency plans * Produce multi-media, multi-channel content for the AWS website, AWS blogs, AWS social impact newsletter, LinkedIn, event activations, and SSI's internal Wiki * Manage external creative vendors to develop high-quality content, creating requests for proposal, managing approval and selection processes, and overseeing project delivery * Build and continuously improve SSI's reference library of videos, photos, customer case studies, media mentions, and social media posts to increase efficiency and repeatability * Serve as org-level resource on relevant policies and practices - e.g. messaging guidelines, customer references, logo usage, required internal approvals - and lead periodic trainings About the team AWS Skilling and Social Impact (SSI) exists to fuel, align, and amplify the good that AWS does in the world. We achieve this through single-threaded leadership of AWS social impact - building and mobilizing Communities of Practice in core priorities of education, health, and climate. We use social impact credits as our primary investment lever, reinforced with training and technical enablement - a mix that allows us to deliver differentiated and data-rich impact for customers and the company. By 2030, we aim to support 5,000 mission-driven organizations with AWS cloud and AI technology, positively impacting 500 million people worldwide, while earning recognition from governments and changemakers for leadership in corporate social responsibility. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
