Contingent Network Engineer (Mid-Senior)- TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Position is contingent upon contract award

Position Responsibilities, but are not limited to:

Provide technical support to the Network Administrators and System Administrators, monitor and maintain the current infrastructure, improve system performance, and automate system administration. Provide input to the design of the organizations network and mission architecture. Configure and maintain organizations network diagrams and accreditations. Conduct Computer Network Defense Operations, plan and install network upgrades, network design, and perform quality assurance and control. Integrate hardware and software to satisfy ISO 9000 requirements and other DoD/IC regulations Resolve complex network problems, operate network analyzers, WAN test equipment and network simulators. Oversee the support to all network equipment. Support the integration of the analytic platform into the CND CDC. Lead large efforts and installation projects of dynamic requirements and scale. Design modules representing traditional circuit switched networks. Ten (10) years experience as an NE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

Basic Requirements

Level 0 requires a degree in a relevant technical field (for example, computer science, mathematics, or physics), entry is with a Bachelors degree plus 1 year of relevant experience. Level 1 requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Masters degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and no experience. Level 2 requires Bachelors degree in Engineering plus 7 years of relevant experience, or a Masters degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 3 years of relevant experience. Level 3 requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering plus 10 years of relevant experience, or a Masters degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.

Candidate must be Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP). Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level III baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required.

Pay Rate Salary range considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
