JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Metropolitan Community College''s Continuing Education Division is seeking enthusiastic, experienced, and knowledgeable non-credit instructors with expertise in a variety of historical topics to provide high-quality personal enrichment opportunities for members of our community. Instructors will have opportunities to teach throughout the year and will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging, informative, and learner-centered courses that inspire lifelong learning and foster a deeper understanding of history.
The ideal candidate will possess strong subject-matter expertise, effective communication skills, and a passion for adult education. Courses may cover a broad range of historical subjects, including local, national, world, cultural, political, military, and social history, and should encourage critical thinking, discussion, and meaningful engagement among learners.

This position will have opportunities for teaching assignments throughout the year. MCC holds classes at multiple locations throughout the Metro area, including Fremont. Most classes will be in the evenings or on weekends.
