Continuous Improvement Coordinator

Pay: $24.00 per hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-5:30PM
Location: Saxonburg, PA 16056

 

The Continuous Improvement Coordinator supports workforce optimization throughout supply chain logistics. This role is responsible for analyzing and improving current work processes, documenting best practices, leading key initiatives, and supporting business activities. The coordinator assists in implementing goals and strategies to enhance operations and evaluates continuous improvement activities to optimize performance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Generate and publish daily/weekly results dashboards for Operations.
  • Use reporting tools to support Labor Management, Leaders of Standard Work, and Performance Coaching scorecards and trends.
  • Maintain current data for Labor Management, Performance Coaching, and Leaders of Standard Work.
  • Conduct ongoing communication and status updates across sites.
  • Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional resources.
  • Train teammates on the Labor Management and Workforce Optimization programs.
  • Support Field Financial Management activities.
  • Manage individual projects to completion with oversight from leadership.
  • Develop and implement recommendations for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Create and manage a metrics-driven quality management system.
  • Develop formal written materials to promote quality systems, metrics, and improvements.
  • Ensure completion of internal audits and develop quality plans and procedures to support SOP compliance.
  • Document process changes in collaboration with management.
  • Assist in the development of team members.
  • Lead detailed process analysis using statistical tools.
  • Manage large-scale improvement projects.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of quality assurance workflows.
  • Facilitate project identification and execution with facility champions, process owners, and project teams.
  • Present data and solutions to internal and external customers.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred, with 1--2 years of relevant experience.
  • In lieu of degree, high school diploma or GED and 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team player.
