Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives
Job Description
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations. Partner with plant leadership teams to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping sessions, and structured problem-solving activities. Support the development and execution of site-specific improvement strategies and operational road maps. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify productivity and efficiency improvements. Standardize best practices and operating procedures across facilities. Analyze operational data and key performance indicators to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities. Coach leaders and employees on Lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and change management practices. Implement and sustain Lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, and Daily Management systems. Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver measurable operational results. Track, report, and present improvement project outcomes to senior leadership. Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 7 years' experience in manufacturing, operations, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement. Proven track record leading Lean transformation and operational excellence programs. Strong experience facilitating Kaizen events and process improvement initiatives. Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, productivity improvement, quality systems, and performance metrics. Ability to influence and drive change across multiple facilities and leadership levels. Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power BI, and performance reporting tools. Willingness and ability to travel extensively across multiple manufacturing locations. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (required). Experience supporting automation and process optimization initiatives. Background working within a multi-site manufacturing environment. Experience implementing operational management systems and KPI-driven performance programs. Previous leadership or management experience.
