We are partnering with a local aerospace manufacturer in their search for a Continuous Improvement Manager. Located in the Islip area, the ideal candidate will come with manufacturing project management experience and an understanding of financial analytics.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives
Identify and implement cause and corrective action activities
Develop training curriculum for Lean Manufacturing trainings
Participate in work center audits
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a similar role
Bachelors Degree
Six Sigma or Lean Certification required
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to climb ladders, stand for long periods of time, and perform repetitive motions
Strong communication skills required (both written and verbal)
