Continuous Improvement Supervisor

The Continuous Improvement Supervisor leads plant safety, training, and operational excellence initiatives. This hands-on role drives a culture of safety, standardization, and continuous improvement through Lean manufacturing principles while partnering with operations and corporate teams to deliver measurable results.

Safety & Compliance

· Lead and manage the facility safety program, ensuring regulatory and company compliance

· Drive hazard identification, incident investigations, and corrective actions

· Partner with corporate safety/environmental teams and track safety metrics and implement improvement initiatives

· Promote a proactive, operator-driven safety culture

Training & Development

· Manage facility training programs (safety and production)

· Develop onboarding and standardized training systems

· Deliver and support training on safety, Lean, and operational processes

· Verify training effectiveness and reinforce standard work

Continuous Improvement (Lean)

· Lead Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, standard work, root cause problem solving)

· Identify process improvements using data and performance metrics

· Drive waste reduction, productivity, and quality improvements

· Facilitate cross-functional improvement efforts and sustain results

Project Management

· Support new product introductions and process changes

· Coordinate cross-functional project execution

· Track progress, risks, and implementation success

---

Performance & Leadership

· Develop and track KPIs for safety and operational performance

· Engage directly with operators and supervisors on the floor

· Promote accountability, standardization, and continuous improvement culture

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Operations, Safety, or related field)

· 3–7 years of manufacturing or continuous improvement experience

· Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and process improvement tools

· Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills

· Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
