Contract Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist

Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | 8am-5pm

Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in West Chester, Ohio that’s expanding its Shared Services team. 

DESCRIPTION:

The AR Specialist –Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring contractual requirements on projects are being met
and updating stakeholders with receivables status. The AR Specialist facilitates all aspects of the project in relation to
accounting, cash flow, and support of operations team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and project managers, ensuring a positive and supportive experience throughout the project lifecycle

  • Communicate clearly and stay highly organized to manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Process monthly progress billings with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness

  • Collaborate closely with project teams to manage expectations and maintain strong customer relationships

  • Ensure job compliance processes are executed smoothly to support efficient billing cycles and timely payments

  • Proactively communicate with stakeholders to resolve issues and meet project requirements

  • Manage accounts receivable status and maintain accurate data entry within ERP systems for visibility into billing and collections

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and supporting process enhancements

  • Collect and manage lien waivers from suppliers while supporting compliance across AR, AP, and operations functions

  • File notices to establish lien rights and track expiration timelines, including researching and applying state-specific lien laws

  • Provide operational support across facilities while maintaining a strong focus on delivering an excellent customer experience

REQUIRED:

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, including identifying issues, developing solutions, and making quick, sound decisions

  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to customers, clients, and internal teams

  • Self-motivated with the ability to handle unique challenges and independently develop solutions

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy while managing multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Customer-focused mindset with a drive to exceed expectations and deliver high-quality service

  • Commitment to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and workflows

  • Proficiency with ERP and accounting systems, internet applications, and Microsoft Office tools

  • Advanced Excel skills preferred, along with experience in payables subledger and billing processes
