Position Overview A company in Scottdale, GA is seeking a Temporary Administrative / Data Entry Professional to support its Service Division during an important operational transition. This role will assist with administrative functions related to software changes and internal position transitions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and confident communicating with vendors, internal staff, and customers. This position requires someone who is proactive, responsive, and comfortable following up to gather needed information and keep processes moving forward. This is a contract-only role expected to last approximately 2–4 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy and attention to detail
- Follow up on service orders and ensure information is updated and complete
- Contact vendors to obtain invoicing and order-related information
- Communicate with internal staff to gather missing details and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Support administrative operations within the Service Division
- Assist the team during a software transition and organizational changes
- Maintain organized records and documentation
- Provide general administrative support as needed
Qualifications
- Previous administrative, customer service, or data entry experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls and following up with vendors and staff
- Must be proactive and not hesitant to reach out to people for information
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Detail-oriented with solid computer and data entry skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment
