Momentum Environmental (“Momentum”) provides specialized environmental, industrial and waste management services to several leading industries in the northeast. Momentum has an opening for an experienced Contract Administrator. Momentum serves an impressive client base in the northeast and is experiencing rapid growth through organic and M&A activities. The Contract Administrator will support Momentum`s business through management of large-scale emergency response contracts.

The Contract Administrator shall be responsible for the administrative portion of current and future large contracts (typically over $1M value projects and high-volume emergency response contracts). This includes direct management and processing of bid documents, self-performing and overseeing contract billing and a direct line of communication to Project Management. As a full time administrator in the Bath, NY location, the Contract Administrator may be requested to assist with general office tasks, field services support including but not limited to: paperwork collection/disbursement and an overall office resource for the field.

Essential Responsibilities

· Train and become fluent with billing and project management software

· Oversee administrative portions of contract performance, value and compliance

· Proactively maintain all aspects of contract compliance including but not limited to insurance, report management, submittals, etc.

· Train on contract specific billing requirements and perform and oversee billing of contracts on the necessary cycles

· Monitor and report on contract budgets, project completion status, and job cost performance

· Solicitation of subcontractors and management of purchase orders for contract projects

· Assist with bidding of new contracts

· Assist in collections and accounts receivable management

· Provide general administrative support

Specific Skills, Experience and Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Minimum 2 years of contract management and/or billing experience in a related field

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

· Excellent computer skills including proficient use of MS Excel and Word

· Experience with Acumatica or other cloud-based accounting systems a plus; experience with comparable platforms/systems required

· Ability to work effectively across organizational and functional boundaries

· Ability to work as part of a team and overcome challenges associated with a rapidly growing business

· Must be a proactive, self-starter such as finding work to do between direct assignments, follow through with tasks, and take ownership and pride in work performed.

· Must have a consistent and reliable work ethic by adhering to work schedules utilizing time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within defined deadlines and ability to adapt to change

· Must be able to assume initiative and work independently with minimal direction

· Strong communication, organizational, time management, and documentation skills
