Responsibilities:
- Prepare, validate, and submit invoices, supporting documentation, and status reports to clients.
- Manage outstanding receivables, addressing and resolving issues through to payment.
- Lead and facilitate receivables and other relevant meetings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes and resolve disputed items.
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment delinquencies and disputes.
- Understand and adhere to client contract terms and conditions, including closeout procedures.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and document management systems.
- Familiarity with government contracting practices.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- 3+ years of billing experience within the government contracting industry, with a foundational understanding of accounting principles.
- 2-3 years of experience with Deltek Costpoint
- Experience with contract closeouts preferred
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
