A growing manufacturing organization in the West Valley is seeking a Contract Coordinator to join its Contracting Department. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in contracts, procurement, or business administration.
The Contract Coordinator will provide administrative and clerical support to the contracting team, including maintaining contract files, preparing documents, entering and tracking data, and supporting procurement-related activities. The position reports directly to the VP of Administration.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with preparing, organizing, and processing contract-related documents
Maintain accurate electronic and physical contract files
Perform data entry and update contract databases and tracking systems
Collect and organize documentation required for contract submissions
Track contract deadlines, renewals, and document status
Coordinate documents for internal review, approval, and signatures
Support the Contracting Officer and department with administrative tasks and special projects
Respond to routine inquiries and route requests to the appropriate team members
Assist with meeting scheduling and department recordkeeping
Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information Contracting Coordinator
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
Previous administrative, coordinator, customer service, or office support experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Comfortable learning new processes and systems
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
