Brief DescriptionTransglobal Services (TGS) seeks experienced independent Drafting Technician professionals to support current and future client projects involving land surveying, mapping, infrastructure, utility, and energy-related drafting services. This opportunity is structured as an independent contractor engagement and is project‑based. Work assignments may vary depending on project scope, client requirements, and business needs.Project Support Services May IncludePreparing, updating, and modifying CAD drawings, plats, maps, exhibits, and related drafting deliverablesSupporting survey and mapping deliverables associated with client and agency requirementsProcessing and organizing field survey data and associated drafting filesAssisting with the preparation of easement exhibits, lease outlines, alignment sheets, permit drawings, and related project documentationSupporting drafting revisions and updates based on project requirements and client feedbackOrganizing and maintaining drafting files, point cloud data, and associated project recordsPerforming quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews of drafting deliverables, including peer‑produced drawings and exhibits when requested, to verify accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with project requirementsSupporting project deliverables in accordance with client specifications and industry standardsPreferred QualificationsExperience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related CAD softwareExperience supporting land surveying, utility, pipeline, infrastructure, telecommunications, renewable energy, or oil and gas projectsFamiliarity with drafting deliverables such as:Easement ExhibitsLease OutlinesAlignment SheetsWell PlatsBoundary SurveysPermit DrawingsSurvey Mapping DeliverablesStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to independently manage project deliverables and deadlinesStrong organizational and communication skillsContractor ExpectationsOperate as independent service providersMaintain control over how services are performed to meet project requirementsUtilize their own tools, software, and equipment unless otherwise specified within project requirementsDeliver accurate and timely work products in accordance with project scope and deadlinesSubmit billable hours or project deliverables in accordance with agreed project termsWork on a project‑by‑project basis with no guarantee of ongoing work or minimum hoursCompensationCompensation is structured on an hourly or project basis and is dependent upon project requirements, experience, and applicable client agreements.Application InstructionsSubmit your resume and a summary of relevant project experience to be considered for current and future contract opportunities with Transglobal Services.#J-18808-Ljbffr
