Description

  • This is a contract position with possibility to hire
  • 100% on site in Brea, CA
  • hourly rate is about $25 to $30/hour but can be somewhat flexible for the right candidate.

Your Role and Impact

The E-Commerce Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for online retail and marketplace channels. This role plays an important part in maintaining product content, supporting promotions, monitoring inventory, generating reports, and ensuring the overall accuracy and effectiveness of e-commerce operations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in e-commerce. This individual will manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate product and promotional information, support cross-functional initiatives, and contribute to the success of online sales channels. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in retailer platforms, digital merchandising, marketplace operations, and e-commerce best practices.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate product information across online retailers and marketplace platforms, utilizing content management and retailer systems.
  • Update and manage product titles, descriptions, specifications, images, and other listing content.
  • Review product pages regularly to identify and resolve missing, inaccurate, or outdated information.
  • Support new product launches and content updates through retailer portals and internal systems.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, reporting files, and tracking tools related to products, pricing, inventory, and promotions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock or out-of-stock situations to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Assist with promotional setup, pricing updates, and execution of promotional calendars.
  • Verify that approved pricing and promotional activities are accurately reflected across online sales channels.
  • Compile sales, inventory, and product performance data for recurring reports and business reviews.
  • Support data validation and reporting processes to ensure information is accurate, complete, and timely.
  • Monitor marketplace communications and assist with customer inquiries, returns, and account-related issues.
  • Maintain organized documentation, including screenshots, case records, tracking logs, and supporting materials.
  • Partner with internal teams to gather information and complete assigned projects and initiatives.
  • Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, and other e-commerce growth initiatives.
  • Assist with documenting workflows, standard operating procedures, and process improvements.
  • Perform other e-commerce and administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, Communications, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Internship experience and/or up to one year of professional experience in e-commerce, marketing, retail operations, merchandising, sales support, or data administration.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, or Google Workspace, including the ability to manage, organize, analyze, and maintain data using spreadsheets, formulas, sorting, and filtering functions.
  • Familiarity with major online retailers and marketplace platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, eBay, or similar channels.
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce principles, including product listings, digital merchandising, pricing, promotions, and online marketplace operations.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate professionally across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy
