Responsibilities:
  • Transport flatbed freight safely and efficiently across designated routes.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Secure cargo using appropriate methods and equipment to prevent damage.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel usage.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and updates.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
  • Provide excellent customer service during pick-up and delivery of freight.
  • Assist in loading and unloading cargo as needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to operate flatbed equipment and secure loads properly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with the job.
