What You’ll Do

Production Scheduling & Planning (50%)

  • Analyze production specifications, capacity data, and inventory levels with contract manufacturers.
  • Determine manufacturing processes and set minimum inventory and safety stock levels.
  • Develop schedules based on manufacturing sequences, lead times, sales forecasts, and customer orders.
  • Monitor workflow across departments and external partners, adjusting schedules as needed to meet ship dates.
  • Expedite delayed operations and resolve issues caused by unexpected changes.
  • Track all orders from initiation to shipment to ensure on‑time delivery.
  • Support new product launches by coordinating with engineering and external manufacturers.

Logistics Support (30%)

  • Process billing packets and request missing documents from brokers or forwarders.
  • Maintain supply chain spreadsheets, including freight tracking, cost reporting, and international freight bill management.
  • Log and track all international air and ocean shipments in the company database.

Purchasing (10%)

  • Source and negotiate pricing for non‑strategic materials.
  • Provide material cost estimates for product costing.
  • Prepare and enter purchase orders into the system.

Inventory Control (10%)

  • Monitor weekly material usage and update inventory needs accordingly.
  • Coordinate production planning and product changes with contractors and project managers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent education/training from a technical school
  • Four years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self‑motivated, self‑directed, and able to work independently or in a team
  • Must be available on call 24/7
  • Proficient with MRP and ERP systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines
  • Must follow all company work rules and policies
