Position Overview

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in healthcare placements nationwide, is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for an excellent opportunity in a hospital setting in El Dorado, Kansas. This role is well-suited for an OT who enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment and is committed to improving patient outcomes and independence.


Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Provide therapeutic interventions to support daily living and mobility

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Educate patients and families on adaptive equipment and techniques

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility standards


Requirements

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Kansas (or eligibility)

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

  • NBCOT certification required

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

  • Minimum 1+ year of clinical experience (hospital or acute care preferred)

  • Strong communication and organizational skills


Position Details

  • Setting: Hospital / Acute Care

  • Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8-hour shifts

  • Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks (with potential for extension)

  • Compensation: Up to $2,660 per week (based on experience and package structure)
