Woofie's of Annapolis is contracting with experienced, qualified independent pet care providers for overnight pet sitting. This is an independent contractor engagement (rather than an employment position).
This is a great fit for college students, freelancers, stay-at-home parents, active retirees, or anyone living in the 21401 or 21403 zip codes (Annapolis, MD) who already has experience caring for pets and availability to provide overnight pet sitting services to new clients.
Fees
Overnight stays are paid as a per-stay fee on a fixed fee schedule — an overnight visit fees are s the equivalent of approximately $50 to $60 per day, depending on the assignment and client needs.
Services Provided
- Overnight pet sitting in the pet owner's home, or hosting pets overnight in your own pet-safe home
- Feeding, fresh water, exercise, and companionship
- Administering medications when the client requests it
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and calming environment for pets
- Sending daily updates and photos to clients through our user-friendly app
- Coordinating directly with Woofie's on booking availability and support
Please note: All instructions pertaining to care, feeding, supplies, routines, overnight timing, and medical needs come directly from the client, not from Woofie's. Stay windows are set by each client and discussed before you accept a booking.
Who We're Looking For
- A responsible, trustworthy pet care provider living in the 21401 or 21403 zip codes (Annapolis area)
- Must be experienced and qualified in pet sitting or animal care
- Available for overnight stays in clients' homes and/or able to host pets overnight in your own pet-safe home
- Comfortable handling dogs and/or cats of varying sizes and temperaments
- Able to follow the detailed care instructions provided by each client
- Reliable, with great communication skills
- 18+ with a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and smartphone
- A background check is completed as part of our client safety standards; we'll go over the details during the interview
- Independent contractors are responsible for their own professional development and any certifications they choose to maintain, including CPR/First Aid
